About the Journal
The Journal of Ayub Medical College Abbottabad (JAMC) is a premier, dual-format (print and digital) publication fully recognized as a Standard Medical Journal by the PM&DC and the HEC of Pakistan. Registered under the French Serial Data System (pISSN: 1025-9589, eISSN: 1819-2718), JAMC is indexed in PubMed, Medline, PakMediNet, Tehqeeqat, and the Index Copernicus Master List. Notably, it stands as Pakistan's second-ever internationally indexed journal and the very first from a local medical college to achieve this global milestone. It also pioneered open access in Pakistan as the first medical journal to offer complete text with rich illustrations absolutely free online.
Published quarterly, this journal features scholarly medical papers encompassing basic, applied, and clinical research investigations.

In compliance with the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) guidelines, JAMC mandates that all clinical trials be registered in a public trials registry at or prior to the time of first patient enrollment as a mandatory condition for publication consideration. Consequently, any unregistered clinical trials will be automatically disqualified from publication. Authors must provide comprehensive trial registry details at the time of manuscript submission.
